경제학과에서는 대학원생들의 연구의욕을 고취시키고 연구를 지원하기 위하여 연구지원 프로그램을 진행하고 있습니다. 2026년 1월 1일부터 2026년 6월 30일까지 게재된 논문, 발표한 논문, 투고한 논문에 대해 상금 또는 비용을 지급합니다. 2026년 6월 24일 - 2026년 7월 2일 23:59 기간 내에 신청하기 바랍니다. 대학원생은 재학생과 수료생 및 휴학생을 포함합니다. 영구수료생은 제외됩니다. 논문 인센티브는 학위취득 3년 이내 졸업생에게도 지급합니다.

○ 제출서류: (1) 첨부하는 파일을 작성하고, (2) 게재한 학술지가 SSCI, Scopus, KCI 등에 해당한다는 증빙 화면, (3) 논문 pdf 파일을 제출
○ 참고사항: 6개월 마다 조사하여 상금 지급
※ 졸업생도 지원 가능: 학위취득 후 3년 이내에 고려대학교 소속으로 논문이 게재될 경우
□ 국내/국제학회 논문발표 지원
○ 2026년 1월 1일부터 2026년 6월 30일까지 (2학기의 경우 익년 2월 말까지) 국내/국제학회에서 발표한 논문에 대해 등록비/(해외)여비 한도 내 지급 또는 상금 지급
○ 신청기간 현재 학위취득 예정자가 학위취득 후 6개월 이내에 국제학회에서 고려대학교 소속으로 발표하는 경우, 등록비/(해외)여비 한도 내 지급 또는 상금 지급

○ 제출서류: (1) 첨부하는 파일을 작성하고, (2) 논문 또는 발표자료 pdf 파일, (3) 학회 프로그램 파일, (4) 등록비/여비 등을 지원받는 경우 본인 결제 영수증 사본을 제출
□ 논문투고료/게재료 지원
○ 2026년 1월 1일부터 2026년 6월 30일까지 투고/게재한 논문에 대해 학술지 투고료와 게재료 한도 내 지원 (주저자 여부와 관계없이 지원).
○ 신청기간: 2026년 6월 24일 - 2026년 7월 2일 23:59
○ 제출서류: (1) 첨부하는 파일을 작성하고, (2) 투고/게재한 학술지가 SSCI, Scopus, KCI 등에 해당한다는 증빙 화면, (3) 논문 pdf 파일, (4) 투고/게재 본인 결제 영수증 사본을 제출
□ 자료구입비 지원

□ 교내 논문발표 인센티브
○ 6월과 12월 학위논문심사 직후 개최되는 학생논문발표회에 선정되어 발표하는 학생에게 상금 지급
○ 신청기간: 6월 초 및 12월 초
○ 제출서류: (1) 첨부하는 파일을 작성하고, (2) 논문 pdf 파일을 기한 내에 제출
○ 발표형식: 경제학과 대학원생들에게 공개된 발표회에서 30분 이내의 발표.
□ 교내 연구제안서발표 인센티브
○ 3월과 9월 개최되는 연구제안서발표회에 선정되어 발표하는 학생에게 상금 지급
○ 신청기간: 3월 초 및 9월 초
○ 제출서류: (1) 첨부하는 파일을 작성하고, (2) 논문초고 파일을 기한 내에 제출
○ 발표형식: 지원자들과 평가교수에게만 공개된 발표회에서 15분 이내의 발표
□ 개강/종강 모임
○ 개강 모임: 3월과 9월 연구제안서발표회 당일 점심 모임
○ 종강 모임: 6월과 12월 학생논문발표회 당일 점심 모임
The Department of Economics offers research support programs to encourage graduate students to pursue research and support their research. We are accepting applications for incentives and expense reimbursements for papers published, presented, or submitted between January 1, 2026, and June 30, 2026. Please ensure you apply within the specified period (June 24, 2026 - July 2, 2026 23:59). Graduate students refer to currently enrolled students, ABD (All But Dissertation) research students, and students on leave. Permanent ABD graduates are excluded. Publication incentives are also available to graduates within three years of degree completion.

□ Publication Incentives
○ Cash prizes for papers published between January 1, 2026, and June 30, 2026
○ Application Period: June 24, 2026 - July 2, 2026 23:59
○ Required Documents: (1) the attached excel file, (2) proof (e.g., a screenshot) that the journal in which the paper is published is indexed in SSCI, Scopus, or KCI, (3) a PDF file of the paper.
○ Notes: Papers published after July 1, 2024 will be reviewed and awarded every 6 months.
※ Recent graduates are also eligible: If a paper is published under the affiliation of Korea University within three years of graduation.
□ Domestic/International Conference Paper Presentation Incentives
○ Cash prizes or registration fees/(international) travel expenses for domestic or international conference presentations held between January 1, 2026, and June 30, 2026, subject to a funding cap
○ If a degree candidate during the application period presents at an international conference under Korea University affiliation within six months of degree completion, either the registration fee and (overseas) travel expenses will be covered within the prescribed limit, or a monetary award will be provided.
○ Application Period: June 24, 2026 - July 2, 2026 23:59
○ Required Documents: (1) the attached excel file, (2) a PDF file of the paper or the slides, (3) a conference program file, (4) copy of the registration fee/travel expenses receipt
□ Paper Submission/Publication Reimbursements
○ Submission and publication fees for papers (regardless of lead author status) submitted or published between January 1, 2026, and June 30, 2026, subject to a funding cap
○ Application Period: June 24, 2026 - July 2, 2026 23:59
○ Required Documents: (1) the attached excel file, (2) proof (e.g., a screenshot) that the journal in which the paper is submitted/published is indexed in SSCI, Scopus, or KCI, (3) a PDF file of the paper, (4) copy of the submission/publication receipt
□ Data Purchase Reimbursements
○ Support will be provided for data purchased between January 1, 2026, and June 30, 2026, within the approved budget limit.
○ Application Period: June 24, 2026 - July 2, 2026 23:59
○ Required Documents: (1) the attached excel file, (2) a data utilization plan, (3) a copy of the receipt for the purchased materials
□ Incentives for participation in short-term and long-term training programs
○ Support will be provided for education/training program participated between January 1, 2026, and June 30, 2026, within the approved budget limit.
○ Pre-application required, selection after screening
○ Application Period: June 24, 2026 - July 2, 2026 23:59
○ Required Documents: (1) the attached excel file, (2) a copy of the training program; (3) a summary report of the training contents, (4) a copy of the receipt for the training fee.
□ On-campus Thesis Presentation Incentives
○ Cash prizes for students who are selected to present their thesis at the graduate student thesis presentations (PhD conference) held immediately after the June and December thesis defense.
○ Application Period: Early June and early December
○ Submission Documents: (1) the attached excel file, and (2) the PDF file of the thesis by the deadline.
○ Presentation Format: 30 minutes or less at a presentation open to all graduate students in the Department of Economics.
□ On-campus Research Proposal Presentation Incentives
○ Cash prizes for students who are selected to present at the research proposal presentation held in March and September
○ Application Period: early March and early September
○ Submission Documents: (1) the attached excel file, and (2) the draft of your research on time by the deadline.
○ Presentation Format: 15 minutes or less at a presentation open only to applicants and evaluators
